Grant Me a Flutter of the Heart

[Signed for simplified Chinese publication; production in progress; Weibo: @CenLiZ] 1. Chi Muzhi. A rare female producer in the industry, she has an icy, refined elegance and is known as the Rose Beauty. But this beauty has thorns. Her words are sharp and merciless, and aside from work on films, she never agrees to interviews or TV shows. Reporters all lament that she is an impenetrable fortress. Until one day, this beauty suddenly landed on the front page of an entertainment gossip magazine for no apparent reason, all because of two words. 2. Recently, #MrWen's Lock Screen# has consistently topped the trending list. It all began when someone accidentally snapped a photo of the lock-screen wallpaper on Shengxing CEO Wen Yi's phone after a meeting. The photo on the wallpaper showed a woman with a stunning profile. The whole internet erupted. Entertainment reporters quickly dug up the woman's identity from the photo. Taking advantage of an interview, one asked Wen Yi, "May I ask what your relationship is with the woman on your lock screen, Mr. Wen?" Wen Yi, who usually couldn't be bothered to answer questions, unexpectedly stopped and turned his head, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Ask me again." Under the pressure of his gaze, the reporter cleared their throat and asked, "May I ask who Miss Chi is to you?" Wen Yi curled his lips into a wicked smile. "The apple of my eye." 3. Everyone in their circle knew that Wen Yi, the eldest son of the Wen family, was a ruthless man. Wen Yi had also openly admitted that he was cold-blooded and ruthless, and might have been a vicious dog in his previous life. Don't provoke him. Everyone believed him. No one dared to. At a certain banquet, Chi Muzhi heard those words and raised an eyebrow. "A vicious dog?" She turned and reached out to tug the tie of the man beside her, smiling with cool eyes. "Then let me hear you bark." Wen Yi parted his thin lips. "Woof." * - "My rose. Others might think she's just like you, but she alone is worth more than all of you put together, because she is my rose." - An icy, elegant female producer X an unruly CEO - Maybe it's a wacky, shameless, crazy-guy-meets-icy, cold girl story about two lunatics who lose both their hearts and their bodies. - A contemporary urban story, an arranged marriage that turns into a little romance after the wedding. - The epigraph is from The Little Prince.
