I'm So Weak!

(Updates paused. I'll resume once the full novel is written.)

Li Bai is a "cat" who is fond of humans. Humans fear powerful creatures they don't understand, so he began pretending to be weak every day, just to get close to them.

After waking up to find the human world completely changed, Li Bai joins a special department in search of his little stone, beginning a journey to find it while getting closer to humans.

In front of demons, Li Bai: Huh? They're all so weak...

In front of humans, Li Bai: A pair of fluffy white ears suddenly pops up on Li Bai's head. "Meow~ I'm just a frail little kitty."

Li Bai shoots a threatening glance at the powerful demon in the corner. The demon trembles with fear and steps forward, shivering. "You rotten cat! Today is the day you die!" Boohoo, this is terrifying, absolutely terrifying. I think today's probably the day I die...

Li Bai cowers behind a human, looking terribly aggrieved. "Meow~ Help!"

Li Bai: I absolutely can't let humans find out how strong I am! I want to be humanity's best friend!

The first time Yan Junbai saw Li Bai, he wanted to get close to him. It took him a very, very long time to realize that this "cat" didn't even know who he was! And he was still obsessed with finding some stone. I'm right in front of you, come find me already!
