Originally titled From the Apocalypse to Slaying Immortals
The title has changed, so naturally the direction has changed too.
Two people from different worlds inexplicably arrive in the apocalypse and begin their journey of surviving (playing) in the end times.
During a zombie horde, Killua and Atobe get separated.
To Killua, Keigo Atobe is just someone who shares his fate (they both somehow ended up in the apocalypse), and he has only known him for two days. Once they find a way back to their original world, they will be strangers again. So if they get separated, well, they get separated.
Aaaah! But now he’ll never get to eat little cakes and chocolate balls again! This is the apocalypse!
Killua feels aggrieved.
The only thing that makes Killua reluctant to leave Atobe behind and makes him want to protect him is that Atobe has sweets on him.
But when Killua meets Atobe again, he realizes that everything about him has changed!
Note: The original direction changes from later chapters onward. Atobe from the original Prince of Tennis world felt too weak after transmigrating to the apocalypse, with no room to grow. (Never mind the whole becoming a saint through physical cultivation thing ⊙▽⊙ I must have been out of my mind when I came up with that...) So I decided to have the Atobe from the original world, who is currently in a parallel world, transmigrate to this apocalypse instead. Yep.
Another note: The apocalypse novel they transmigrate into was mentioned in the author's notes in the first few chapters, so I won't bring it up here. Also, this story was discontinued several years ago. If I resume it, I'll be changing a lot of the ideas to fit my current thinking.
Warnings: This story is complete nonsense and has no logic whatsoever. Its sole guiding principle is that Atobe and Killua are the absolute best. If that's not your thing, please move along.
Theme: Strong partners join forces to rule the apocalypse
