This was so hard to write``````
A solemn clarification: this Song Kingdom is not the historical Southern Song, Northern Song, or any other real dynasty in Chinese history. I haven't done any historical research (mostly because I'm too lazy```` sigh```` and afraid I'll get the history wrong and be attacked``), so please don't treat it as a real historical setting.
That “Anonymous” person (hehe```) was right``` The inspiration for this provisional title came from Joey Yung's new song “Tomorrow's Blessing.” It's a lovely song`` full of blessings and hope``` You can listen to it too (wow`` I've wandered all the way to the Tianshan Mountains``` sob`` Guess I'm giving Joey some free publicity```)
The jianghu I long for in my heart should be a place of happiness and joy. But I know that's not how things really are, so in my writing, the jianghu bears eternal wounds.
Updates are infrequent because writing wuxia is really not easy. I hope you won't give up supporting me!
I suggest waiting until I've written more before reading, or starting over from the beginning. I've revised parts of it anyway, and reading it in these broken-up installments makes it hard to follow! (That's why I locked the story for so long.)
P.S. The first and second chapters lack some of the more twisted characters, and the plot is sparse and rather slow. Please be patient and keep reading, because it gets more exciting in the third chapter!
