The Pink Sea of Santa Monica

The first time Huang Xiyao saw Li Jiayun was at Beijing Capital International Airport.

The wind on the tarmac was fierce, whipping her long hair into a wild mess.

More than a dozen staff members were waiting with her. On her phone screen was a news report Reuters had posted three minutes earlier:

"KaWan-Lee's private Gulfstream G650ER has arrived in Beijing.

This is the first visit to China by the AetherAI founder, Chinese-American, and newly minted billionaire."

She looked up and saw a tall figure on the boarding stairs.

It wasn't until much later that she learned this wasn't the first time they had met.

* This might be the richest male lead I've ever written.

(Plans have changed, so I'm writing this one first. I've changed the upcoming story, so feel free to remove it from your collection if you mind.)
