[A long-awaited project / old-school female protagonist transmigrates into another body / not told through a camera-like perspective]
Three Kingdoms story / male lead is the historical figure Jiang Wei / rare BG pairing, written to feed my own cravings
A slow-burn, sweet, warm, and charming farming story.
1v1, happy ending, together for a lifetime.
Blurb:
Senior high school student Liu Yuan was reciting "Memorial on the Northern Expedition" beside the railroad tracks. Her textbook was covered in messy notes: Zhuge Liang had led five northern expeditions.
Liu Yuan took a closer look and saw that she'd also written down the name Jiang Wei. That Jiang Wei had led eleven northern expeditions!!!
Then a green train roared past, and Liu Yuan lost consciousness. When she woke again, she found herself lying in an airtight coffin.
Liu Yuan was so scared she started sobbing, until a young man pulled her out of the coffin.
The young man held her tightly, his body trembling. His voice was full of barely contained excitement. "A Yuan, thank goodness. You're alive."
That young man was none other than the "Northern Expedition fanatic," Jiang Wei.
Jiang Wei told her he was a Gentleman of the Household in Tianshui Commandery, and her husband. He also promised he would protect her and never let her leave him again.
A little scene:
Just after Liu Yuan transmigrated to the poor, remote area of Jixian in Tianshui, a natural disaster struck. Every day, she could only eat coarse grains and wild vegetables, with not a scrap of meat. She started sobbing over the lack of meat.
Her young husband, Jiang Wei, couldn't bear to see her upset. He went up the mountain to catch pheasants and waded into the river to catch fresh fish.
On a midsummer night, mosquitoes left several swollen bites on Liu Yuan's fair little arms. Hot and itchy, she couldn't sleep and started whimpering again.
Her young husband, Jiang Wei, stayed up all night, swatting the nasty mosquitoes and fanning her with a palm fan.
When Tianshui fell, Jiang Wei became a great general of Shu Han.
Liu Yuan looked at the ruined walls and rubble in the city without shedding a single tear, then set off to find her husband.
When she reached Chengdu in Shu Han, she saw Jiang Wei surrounded by the people, tall and handsome in black iron armor, with a dashing, heroic air.
Liu Yuan hadn't cried for nearly half a year. She finally found her husband, but then the tears began falling again.
Her still-young husband, Jiang Wei, gently comforted her. "A Yuan, don't cry. This time, you'll get to eat meat every day."

Actually: A bright, gentle, heroic young general VS a soft, weepy wife who came back from the dead after transmigrating.
(2) The heroine grows over the course of the story, while the hero spoils her without question.
(3) The broad strokes of history remain unchanged. The author does the research, but may make minor adjustments to the historical timeline for the plot.
(4) A slow start, healing and heartwarming, happy ending.
Theme: Protecting one another in a chaotic age
