Juggling the Roles of Long Aotian's Fiancée and Junior Sister

Synopsis:

After cultivating for a thousand years, Jiang Buyu finally gains human form. Having accidentally ruined the Heavenly Dao's plan to raise a domineering hero, she has no choice but to work for it.

Her first role is Xie Ji's fiancee.

The Heavenly Dao wants her to seek Xie Ji out, break off the engagement, and humiliate him in front of everyone, slapping him in the face! This will plant the seeds of anger and hatred in Xie Ji's heart and set him on the first step of his domineering hero's journey!

Jiang Buyu does as instructed. She storms over to Xie Ji and his fellow disciples and looks down at him. "You're not good enough for me. Let's break off the engagement."

Three-year-old Xie Ji strains to look up at Jiang Buyu. Biting his finger, he blinks his big eyes and asks, "What's a leg faint? Why would a leg faint?"

Jiang Buyu: ...

In the end, she gets the engagement-breaking letter in exchange for two candied hawthorns and a plate of pastries.

As she leaves, Xie Ji cries, tears streaming down his face. "Sister, don't go! I still want to play leg faint!"

Jiang Buyu's second role is Xie Ji's childhood friend and junior sect sister.

The Heavenly Dao wants her to die saving Xie Ji, becoming the first love he can never forget, his white moonlight.

Her death is supposed to drive the plot forward: Xie Ji levels up, gets revenge, slaps faces, and builds a harem.

So this time, Jiang Buyu becomes an abandoned baby, only recently born, whom Xie Ji's master takes in.

She puts up with Xie Ji's endless mother-hen-like nagging and finally completes the plot where she dies saving him...

But when she opens her eyes, lo and behold! Her third role is a demonic cult enchantress who stole the sacred object Xie Ji had sought so long to use to revive his junior sister, then stabbed him with a fatal blow when he was least on guard!

Jiang Buyu: What a poor guy. Is he really the Heavenly Dao's precious son? What if he dies by my hand?

Heavenly Dao: He won't die. Someone will save him.

Jiang Buyu: Who?

Heavenly Dao: You.

Jiang Buyu: ...
