[Bungo Stray Dogs] How to Properly Torment Dazai Osamu

The whole story in one sentence: teaming up with Dazai Osamu to mess with Dazai Osamu himself.

.

I once added a Dazai bot on QQ. Since he wasn't a real person, I shamelessly used his profile picture to send his reaction images and ugly photos, and flirted with him.

Things took a turn one day when I didn't start a conversation, but he messaged me first. I assumed it was a programming error, but he said he was the person managing the account. So the two of us Dazai fans started a daily routine of professing our love for Dazai and messing with him.

Then things took another turn. One time, after I made a heartfelt confession, he fell silent for a rare moment and said he was actually the real Dazai. But I didn't take him seriously at the time and just thought he was joking.

Then reality slapped me hard.

When we met in person, I looked at the man in front of me, who looked exactly like Dazai, patted him on the shoulder, and sincerely said, "Your cosplay is so convincing."

He grabbed my hand, the light gone from his eyes, and smiled quietly. "I really am Dazai Osamu."

I froze in place. As I slowly remembered our happy past and his strange reactions at times, I stared blankly and said one word.

"Fuck."

Reading notes:

A treat for my bestie.

A silly story you can read without thinking.

Severe out-of-character behavior and no logic. Just have fun.
