After cultivating for ten thousand years, Shi Jiu proved the Dao as a nine-tailed fox and ascended to the Immortal Realm. She thought repaying a small debt of gratitude for a past life would be no more than a trivial matter!
But who could have guessed that her benefactor had been given the ultimate cannon-fodder fate?
In the first life, she carefully raised him until he was three. Dead.
In the second life, she diligently raised him until he was eight. Dead.
In the seventh life, she nervously guided him onto the path of cultivation. His talent was heaven-defying, his fortune incredible... Dead.
The eighth life... To hell with repaying this debt!
Shi Jiu grabbed a certain unlucky fellow by the collar, spat up a mouthful of blood, and cursed, "You short-lived wretch!"
Su Qingyan, Immortal Realm big shot, returned from surviving a tribulation, one hundred thousand years old, with a face full of blood: "???"
Su Qingyan had only descended to the mortal realm to undergo a tribulation. He was supposed to return to his true body in the Immortal Realm as soon as he died, but why did time rewind every time he died?
And in every life, all sorts of inexplicable people kept appearing by his side. They would even raise him by scavenging garbage, absolutely refusing to let him die young.
They worried he'd go into Qi deviation while cultivating, worried he'd fall while walking, worried he'd choke while eating, and even when he drank water... they worried he'd choke?
All in the name of giving him 365-degree, all-around, no-blind-spot personal care?
Qingyan: Who are you, exactly?
Shi Jiu clutched the one scraggly tail she had left and threw herself at him in fury. "I'm your dad!"
Su Qingyan, earnest, stern, never one to joke, and single for one hundred thousand years by his own merits: "???"
And so begins the story of a benefactor desperately trying to die so he can return to the Immortal Realm, while the person repaying her debt simply refuses to listen! She insists on raising him, raising him, raising him! She'll raise him until the end of time, until they live as long as Heaven itself!

Ah hey! The ending is perfunctory!! How could it be so bad?
Isn't Qixinlian a foreshadowing?????
This... The ending is quite sudden.
The plot behind it is too bad
This ending is too perfunctory, right?
Emmmmmmm. . . . . Before watching it, I read in the comments section that it ended too hastily, and after watching it, it indeed ended quite hastily. . . . It felt like the plot was still being laid out in the penultimate chapter, and the last chapter was forced to round things out and it was over. . . .
What is Prince Fox regretting? I really want to know.
I really like the writing and the plot at the beginning of this article. Although it is not bloody at the end, it does not feel as bright as the first. (Actually, I think it's perfectly fine to expand the writing to 100,000 or 200,000 words while cultivating)
The writing is great. It would be nice if the cultivation part was longer. The heroine in the first few chapters really poked me, but then she was just silly and sweet.
It's a good book, but there are still some unfinished ideas.
