Did the Venerable Get a Raise Today?

Originally titled "Master of the Haunted House." The title couldn't include the word "ghost," so I changed it~

At first, the haunted house only held one ghost. Later, population growth accelerated ghost population growth.

Ruler of the Underworld: Your Excellency, the ghost unemployment rate has been rising rapidly lately. Does your haunted house need any ghost soldiers?

Ruler of Hell: Your Excellency, Hell has expanded to 49 floors, and your haunted house is looking a little quiet.

At first, Mo Gui only took in one ghost of an overworked civil servant. Later, the haunted house's benefits were so good...

Good Ghosts: Your Excellency, do you still need cleaners? We beg you, please give us the full benefits package!

Vicious Ghosts: Your Excellency, please lock us up. Just don't blow us up!

Underworld Ghost Officers: Boss, the place next door gave everyone another raise today.

Ruler of the Underworld: Shut up. I'm studying for an exam. Don't bother me.

Hell's Ghost Officers: Boss, the place next door added commercial insurance. They now have six types of insurance and a housing fund!

Ruler of Hell: Thanks. I've already got an offer.

P.S. This is an infrastructure-building story. The ghost realm is an entirely fictional setting.

Theme: Workers work with their souls. Working people are the best of the best.
