[Dream of the Red Chamber] Xue Pan the Benevolent

One day, Xue Pan got a System called the Good Person System. It offered no rewards and only forced him to do good deeds. If he didn't, he'd die a truly, truly, truly horrible death.

Xue Pan didn't believe a word of it. Not only did he refuse to do good deeds, he went out of his way to do bad things. And then...

The people of Jinling saw the city's famous bully, Xue Pan, clutching someone's leg and wailing, "Please, let me help you! I really don't want to die young!"

Many years later, when the world-famous philanthropist Xue Pan was asked why he was willing to give away his entire fortune to do good, he made a long face and said:

I was forced into it, actually. Would you believe me?
