At Dusk

Gu Changhuai accidentally fell into the water as a child. After being rescued, he gained the ability to see the unclean things in the world.

Some day, a marmot spirit: I am a mighty demon, able to soar to the heavens and burrow deep underground. With one leap, I can knock down countless humans...

Gu Changhuai (interrupting): So impressive. Then why do you keep sneaking the fruit off my desk every day?

Some day, a marmot spirit: ...

Some lake ghost: I am benevolent and kindhearted, waiting only for someone who can help me...

Gu Changhuai (interrupting): Then ask people properly. Don't drag them into the water the moment you lose your temper. How can they help you if they're dead?

Some lake ghost: ...

Ming Ye: I am handsome, refined, and gentle. By any measure, I'm a good ghost.

Gu Changhuai (changing his attitude): That's true. You're quite adorable. How about coming to my room so I can take a good look at you?

Ming Ye: Excellent, excellent.

Some day, a marmot spirit: Is this guy blind? I'm obviously the cutest being in the world!

Some lake ghost: I suspect you two are getting dirty, but I have no proof.
