Don't Think I'm Waiting for You

When they first met, Tang Shi was sweet yet passionate, shy yet bold, and loved Song Ci with reckless abandon.

After they broke up, Song Ci told her, "You can't spend your whole life thinking about love. Everyone has their own path to follow. You have to look ahead."

When he saw Tang Shi again, she had been selected for the Young Thousand Talents Program, hired as a professor by A University, and was its youngest doctoral supervisor. That day, she was on a blind date with Song Ci's good buddy Lu Hang, a hotshot in the IT world worth hundreds of millions. Her face was fair as snow, her swanlike neck slender, and her long legs crossed elegantly. She looked poised and refined.

Lu Hang excitedly told Song Ci, "I think I've met a true lady from a distinguished family!"

Song Ci loosened his tie, a wave of irritation rising inside him. He had come a long way and finally made a name for himself, yet he didn't want to look ahead anymore. He wanted to turn back, right now!

But Tang Shi's beautiful face, radiant as the evening sky, wore a faintly mocking smile. "There's a pit up ahead, Mr. Song. Watch where you're going, or you'll fall and break your neck."

After breaking his leg, Mr. Song was dragged to a bar by Lu Hang, whose pursuit had failed, to drown his sorrows. Then he heard the woman at the next table say, in a voice so familiar it seemed etched into his soul, "There's this thing called an ex-boyfriend. They always think that just because something once happened between you, you have to treat them differently. Do they even think about how we're intimate with sanitary pads every month, and still throw them away after use?"

Poised? Refined? A lady from a distinguished family? I can't believe I fell for that!

Now limping, Mr. Song was determined to rise up and rid the people of evil. So... he'd start by tearing off her mask, with his bare hands.

Tang Shi: "Go ahead and try."

Song Ci ripped twice, tearing himself apart and emerging as if reborn. Come on, I'll sacrifice myself for justice!

Both leads are inexperienced. One-on-one romance.
