The Short-Tempered Patriarch's Beloved Little Ancestor

Ran Xiaoqi has no lofty ambitions. She just wants to be a humble nobody in the Chu household, living a quiet life and avoiding conflict. Unfortunately, the head of the Chu family, Chu Anlin, has a bad temper and goes through maids like water. Ran Xiaoqi is unlucky enough to be picked to fill a vacancy. To keep her job, she sensibly becomes the least hands-on of all personal maids. The head of the household says: Very satisfactory! But some people may look like maids, when in reality they're little tyrants. One bowl of poisoned soup was all it took for Ran Xiaoqi to poison Chu Anlin's soul right out of her body. And so began Ran Xiaoqi's career as her personal attendant... While her soul is out of her body-- Ran Xiaoqi: My lady, don't you hate having maids near you? Chu Anlin: I'm a soul now, not a person. Ran Xiaoqi: My lady, your soul is lovely and all, but having you draped over me and blowing cold air is still terrifying! Chu Anlin: Don't forget, you're my personal maid! After her soul returns-- Ran Xiaoqi: My lady, I don't think you can keep doing this and that to me! Chu Anlin: Of course I can. Don't forget, you're my personal... little tyrant.
