Ning Xi had lost her memory. When she woke up, she found several handsome young men gathered around her. One was humming to her, another was reading her favorite book aloud, and yet another held her hand and sobbed, begging her to wake up soon.
Then she was told that these young men were members of TES, currently the hottest boy band, and that she was their manager.
Ning Xi: "...Huh?"
There was one boy in the hospital room who had his back to her. When he heard Ning Xi had woken up, he flinched slightly. But when he turned around, he said coldly, "What's with the 'huh'? You put on this act just to get us to do a variety show? What the hell is this supposed to be?"
Then he said, "I'm leaving the group."

Rumors had long circulated on Weibo that Ning Xi didn't get along with the members, that she didn't have their best interests at heart and only wanted to exploit them.
After Xiao Su, the leader, announced that he was leaving the group, Ning Xi was vilified across the internet. Xiao Su's fans were overjoyed that their idol had finally gotten rid of that pretty manager.
But they didn't know that, back when Xiao Su was carrying bricks at a construction site with his sleeves rolled up and without saying a word, Ning Xi had discovered him and turned him into a popular idol.
It wasn't until a break in the filming of a variety show that someone saw Ning Xi fall into a mud pit and Xiao Su, dressed all in white, scoop her up at once and carefully wipe the mud from her face, bit by bit.
