Synopsis:
The protagonist is the villainous Immortal Venerable in a novel. He is aloof and cold, an untouchable flower atop the highest peak of the cultivation world.
Jealous of his senior brother's new disciple, a popular darling adored by all, he makes things difficult for him at every turn. In the end, the disciple tears off his mask, revealing to the world that the Immortal Venerable is a hypocrite, mediocre in talent, and vicious at heart.
The new disciple challenges him to a fight to the death ten years later.
Only then does the Immortal Venerable learn that he is merely a stepping stone for the novel's protagonist, an experience-grinding villain. Wounded by the protagonist, his cultivation keeps falling, and he will die within ten years.
The Immortal Venerable refuses to believe in fate and will not bow his head. He uses up all his pills, but nothing helps.
After taking the last pill from his storage ring, he discovers that it can lead to another fantasy continent, where it belongs to a mighty protagonist named Long Aotian.
The Immortal Venerable sees the young Long Aotian stripped of his cultivation, rejected after an engagement is called off, bullied by his clan, and beaten to the brink of death.
Long Aotian asks, "Are you an immortal? Did you come to save me?"
The Immortal Venerable replies, "No. I'm about to die too, but you... still have a future."
The Immortal Venerable gives Long Aotian his last pill. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Long Aotian recognizes him as his master and vows to help him.
The Immortal Venerable smiles, not taking him seriously.
But when he visits Long Aotian's world again a few days later, Long Aotian has already broken through three major cultivation realms.
The Immortal Venerable: ...
Could he be a genius?
Long Aotian: It's all thanks to your excellent teaching, Master!
After that, Long Aotian's cultivation advances by leaps and bounds. He becomes the most powerful cultivator the Immortal Venerable has ever seen. Grateful and utterly devoted, he searches everywhere for miraculous pills and medicines for his master. Later, to improve his cultivation, he even cultivates dual techniques with him.
The Immortal Venerable thinks he's invincible and decides to dump Long Aotian! So the next day, Long Aotian gets dumped for entering the room with his left foot first.
The Immortal Venerable "accidentally" loses the ring, only to discover that he's pregnant with Long Aotian's child!

Later, when the Immortal Venerable is fighting the novel's protagonist to the death, the protagonist is backed into a corner and uses his final trump card. He takes out the Ancient Spirit Ring he found, casts an ancient forbidden spell, and summons an ancestor from the Upper Realm to help him.
That day, the very heavens and earth change color. Amidst the thunder, Long Aotian shatters the void and appears. He angrily grips the Immortal Venerable's chin and asks, "Who are you?"
The Immortal Venerable: ...
Long Aotian asks again, "Who am I?"
The Immortal Venerable: "Your child's father."
1. Long Aotian pretends to be weak at first, while the Immortal Venerable really is weak, though he'll become powerful later.
2. The Immortal Venerable doesn't break up with him because he thinks he's invincible. The story will explain the real reason.
3. While they're broken up, Long Aotian finds other ways to visit the Immortal Venerable.
4. The novel will be released this year.
