Xing Fan, a big-name author on a certain web-novel site, loves surfing the internet and often uses a secret identity to jump into the fray and argue with her critics herself.
One day, she noticed a young reader on Weibo who always charged into battle to defend her whenever she was attacked, arguing her case every single time.
Intrigued, Xing Fan put on a secret identity and asked the girl: Why do you like Xing Fan so much?
The young reader, whose name was Nian Nian, nodded enthusiastically. "I love Xing Fan so much! I'll love her forever!"
Really?
Xing Fan smiled behind her screen. She would have to put it to the test herself.
Later, Nian Nian discovered that the online troll she argued with every day, the aloof but gentle big sister who drew fan art, and the pretty senior she ran into at the school cafe...
were all her beloved Xing Fan.
