Turns Out I'm the Fourth Calamity [Spiritual Qi Revival]

During college, Gu Li, a corporate drone, had the backing of her rich heiress best friend. Whether she was making variety shows, web dramas, or major films, she never had to worry about funding or having a say. Her career was thriving. But just after graduating and becoming independent, her first project brought together an idiot colleague, an idiot boss, and an idiot business partner. The project blew up, and all their hard work went down the drain! Gu Li was furious. She tried everything but couldn't save the project. Then, without warning, the country announced: Spiritual qi revival had begun. It was also discovered that Gu Li possessed one of the rarest spiritual roots in ten thousand. With the country opening cultivation universities, and knowing that a whole new era had arrived, Gu Li, who refused to fall behind, quickly wrapped up her last disastrous project, slapped a resignation letter in her bastard boss's face, and went back to university to study cultivation! - Unfortunately, her spiritual root wasn't very good, and her cultivation progressed at a snail's pace. Gu Li planned to find a game to unwind with. But before she could even search, a game advertised as a fully immersive cultivation experience with one hundred percent realism appeared on her ex-boyfriend's account. Angry, Gu Li opened the game, only to freeze in place: The NPC in the opening animation looked exactly like her ex-boyfriend! Her ex-boyfriend was two years younger than her, clever, handsome, and clingy. The problem was that an accident had taken his life several years ago. Gu Li had watched with her own eyes as his body was sent into the crematorium furnace and burned to ashes, leaving nothing that could be pieced back together. Gu Li played the game for a while, furious the whole time. She didn't find the truth, but she did get hooked. Cultivation, farming, construction, animal husbandry, cooking, collecting... The game was packed with features and so realistic it felt like a second world. It was completely impossible to put down! Even more surprising, her cultivation progress, which had been stalled for ages, suddenly soared. She even left the single-spiritual-root cultivation prodigies in her class far behind. Word spread, and the game set the internet ablaze. Countless people scrambled to buy it. But that was when Gu Li noticed something strange: The game world seemed to be real! Even more frightening, she received a message from her ex-boyfriend: "Sister Li, I'm coming back very soon~" P.S.: 1. Features the fourth calamity and spiritual qi revival; not horror. 2. Older woman-younger man romance. The leads are each other's one and only, body and soul. Theme: Protect the Earth
