[Synopsis]

After quietly divorcing her former husband, Qing Yue soon meets a handsome young man. She feels an instant kinship with him, and after seeing him again, considers him a kindred spirit. From then on, they are inseparable, and she even leaves her family to study alongside him.

But just as the young man, who shares her feelings, is about to confess, her former husband, missing for eight years, suddenly reappears. Completely unaware that they are divorced, he proceeds to act like a loving husband.

Immortal Lord Dengyun, Chu Yan, thinks there must truly be someone bold enough to try to steal his fated Dao companion. He suppressed his powers and pretended to be a junior, spending five years winning her heart. Would he really back down just because of a demon?

But as the fight goes on, Immortal Lord Dengyun and Demon Lord Qiushui both realize something is wrong. The knife went into his body, so why am I the one coughing up blood?

When Qing Yue, who had been feeling guilty, discovers that her former husband and her current partner are the same person...

Nothing you say will change my mind. I'm not marrying you this time!

Everyone knows that the eldest daughter of the Fifth Family, the foremost clan of the immortal path, Palace Mistress Luyue, defied the entire immortal path and resolutely became Dao companions with Demon Lord Qiushui. They are a loving couple, perfectly in harmony.

But no one knows that in the second year of their marriage, Demon Lord Qiushui disappeared while away from home, then repeatedly sent signals to dissolve their Dao companion pact.

When his fellow immortals notice that someone else has taken the Demon Lord's place at Palace Mistress Luyue's side, they praise her with relief: At last, the darling of the immortal path has seen the light!

They don't know that as soon as the Palace Mistress who has seen the light gets home, the now-darkened Immortal Lord tears her clothes to shreds: Which of us is better, him or me?

Qing Yue: He's split personalities again...

Chu Yan wonders whether he's been cheated on: Should I be jealous of myself or not?
