A magical world abandoned by the gods. Everyone had grown accustomed to life without gods, relying instead on magical technology. For some reason, Eunice followed the old priest's instructions and gathered five Tears of God to summon a deity. She never expected people to think the priests had brainwashed her. Once an esteemed magical prodigy, she became a laughingstock and a madwoman. A thousand years later, she even became a propaganda example in campaigns against cults and in support of science.
It feels pretty good, but the characters are not obvious and it feels like a running account.
