Your Ideal Isn't Your Ideal

It's very well written. I really like this style.

Goodbye ideal. "To influence a man is to give him your soul. He will not think according to his own nature, or let its passions burn, and its virtues will not really belong to him. His sins, if sins exist at all, are borrowed. He becomes an echo of someone else's music, an actor in a play not written for him."

I feel like I understand, but I don't seem to understand...

The ending is really unexpected! ! !

This homophone of "dumb" and "kicking" connects so smoothly hhh
