The God of Wealth Retires and Becomes a Star

Sheng Ruyi, the God of Wealth, made anyone who worshiped him go bankrupt. His furious worshippers smashed his temple and filed a complaint with Heaven.

So Heaven forced him into retirement.

Sheng Ruyi had no choice but to go down the mountain and find work to support himself. A confused staff member mistook him for a trainee and shoved him into some talent show.

Director: Show us your talent! Sing! Dance! Rap!

Sheng Ruyi: "..."

At the Celestial Court, all they ever taught us was The Hundred Ways to Become a God.

Lian Zhi was only there to visit his foolish younger brother, who refused to inherit the family fortune and insisted on becoming an idol. He never expected the person rumored to be "Lian Zhi's unattainable love" to be competing on the show too.

The unscrupulous media twisted the story, reporting that Lian Zhi had appeared on the talent show to pursue his unattainable love.

Lian Zhi didn't want anyone using him for publicity and was thoroughly annoyed. He grabbed a passerby's hand and said, "That's nonsense! I don't know the person you're talking about. The one I'm pursuing is him."

Sheng Ruyi, who happened to be passing by: ??? Human, let go of this god's hand! I'll forgive you!

Foolish younger brother: ??? Brother, weren't you here to see me?

Sheng Ruyi was supposed to be eliminated in the first round, but unexpectedly gained a wave of popularity thanks to the famously "charming" CEO Lian's public confession and made it through. The audience trashed him as a useless pretty face who got by on his looks and his shipping fans!

Then the useless pretty face transformed and turned the stage around with authentic Chinese-style performances.

Dunhuang flying dance! Guangling Melody! Song of the Pipa...

I, Sheng Ruyi, retired God of Wealth, am an all-round ace! A god forever!

Blurb written on 2020-10-22. I want to write a lighthearted, sweet little story.

Please check out my upcoming novel: After My Death, I Reincarnated as a Cute and Cool High Schooler [Infinite Flow]

The main story is told in third person. The blurb has been screenshotted.

I ascended the throne and died three years later.

Before I died, people called me a tyrant.

People feared me, dreaded me, and trembled before me.

After I reincarnated,

I became a seventeen-year-old high school student in the modern world.

Now everyone just wants to pinch my chubby cheeks.

In an Infinite Flow survival game, people are always trying to shield me.

Everyone: Little cutie, get out of the way! This monster is really tough!

Me: No need.

I raise my blade and bring it down.

Everyone: Damn! You're a hidden powerhouse!

Upcoming story two: I'm a Demon Cub, Yet I Go to Human School

My big daddy is the King of the Vampires, and my little daddy is the Father of Demons.

I, Wen Duoduo, am a fearsome demon. Just a flap of my wings can make all the beings of the six realms tremble!

I spread my demonic wings and fly into the blue sky.

A demon's day starts with inspecting my territory!

Plop. Wen Duoduo's little fleshy wing was grabbed.

Flap flap flap! Wen Duoduo struggled.

Dad: Kid, it's time for school. Don't show your wings in front of outsiders.

Wen Duoduo folded his wings. Okay~

With my backpack on and the milk my dad gave me in hand, I, the great demon, am going to human school today!

Humans, are you afraid of me? Hiahiahia!

The human students at school: Wow! Where did this adorable baby come from? Aaaaah! Let me pinch your cheeks!

Wen Duoduo: Waaaah, humans are so mean! They're pinching this demon's cheeks!

Theme: Promote Chinese culture.
