Darling, All Dressed Up

The Song family is the wealthiest family in Lin'an City. The legitimate son, Song Yannian, is handsome as jade and impeccably presentable, with admirers as numerous as the strands of a silkworm's cocoon. One day, after the rain cleared and the sky turned blue, with morning dew still glistening, Song Yannian's third younger brother brought a young woman home. She had features as lovely as a painting and was as delicate as water. The slightest parting of her red lips could ensnare a man's soul. Song Yannian felt as if dead wood had met the spring again, and stared straight at the charming beauty with his bright eyes. His third brother stepped in front of her and said, "Eldest Brother, please behave yourself." Later... Rumors spread through the city: Song Yannian was shameless, stealing his younger brother's wife, crushing his desires, and acting like a tyrant. A light drizzle fell over a small emerald boat in the middle of the lake. Song Yannian gathered Gu Zhuangzhuang's dark hair and tucked in an exquisite peach blossom hairpin. His warm lips pressed against her fair neck, and he kissed her gently. The beauty's ears suddenly turned red. His unwilling third brother tugged at her sleeve. "Zhuangzhuang, you were supposed to be my wife..." Song Yannian gave a cold snort. "Third Brother, please behave yourself." Gu Zhuangzhuang's eyes glistened, and her brows lifted slightly. She shyly hid behind Song Yannian. "Third Brother, call me sister-in-law." Theme: Braving wind and rain together, hand in hand, dancing through life!
