A Taobao shop called You Jian Chang An launched outfits matching those in the hit online game Dream Life, and they became an instant sensation.
Fellow shop owners were quick to attack: "You copyright infringers! Do you even have the rights to make those clothes?"
Soon after, the official Dream Life account posted: "What's the boss's is the boss lady's. No authorization needed. @You Jian Chang An shop"
Dream Life wrapped up, and the usual media interviews followed.
Reporter A: The game's female protagonist is very popular. Was she based on anyone?
The chief producer, impeccably dressed in a suit and handsome with a cool expression, replied briefly: "My wife."
Reporter B: Is there anyone you'd especially like to thank for your success?
Chief Producer: "My wife."
Reporter C: One more question...
The chief producer frowned impatiently. "Are we done yet? My wife is waiting for me to come home and buy groceries."
