This is a love story set amid the fires of war. Love makes way for war, while war paves the way for love. Their paths wind together in a colorful, intricate dance.
Qingtong's life is an endless cycle: every gain comes with a loss, and every loss brings a gain. Because her mother is not favored, Qingtong, the young princess of Dayuan, is given the freedom to grow up as she pleases. She fights for the right to study, and at the Imperial Academy she meets her first love. But the dream doesn't last long. An imperial decree marries her off to a border general who harbors a grudge against the royal family. Using her own abilities, Qingtong drives back the enemy. At the frontier, she finds a place where she can thrive, and grows tenaciously. It is there, too, that she meets the greatest enemy and suitor of her life. Just as she resolves to put down roots in a foreign land, a major natural disaster and a coup back home stir her sense of duty...
Li Fei, Zhou Yuanzheng, Xiao Tunan, and Ren Pingsheng: four men of different backgrounds and utterly different personalities, each bearing witness to Qingtong's growth. This is not a transmigration story, nor is she an heir to the throne. See how she ascends to the highest seat, and how she later walks away unscathed.
The title of the first part comes from the Spring and Autumn period. After Qin produced a great ruler, Duke Mu of Qin, it then had four incompetent rulers in a row. By the time of Duke Xiao of Qin, the country had become poor and weak. Duke Xiao called on the whole world for ways to make Qin strong. His recruitment edict was deeply moving: he even dared to criticize his own ancestors, declaring that he would restore Qin's dominance and would not regret it, even if it cost him his life. Duke Xiao treated the talented men who came to Qin with great humility, and in the end he won over Wei Yang, a scholar from the eastern states. When the other talented men saw Duke Xiao, they all said, "The Duke of Qin has a heart as vast as the sea. His ambition to dominate is too small: he should set his sights on the whole world!"
The second part is here. (It won first prize in the Yueduji Essay Contest, and I'm delighted.)
This is an older story. If you remember it, feel free to take a look.
These two are novellas. I especially like Flower Affairs, so please check it out.
These are traditional wuxia novels of medium length, though the characters are rather unconventional.
Below are five short stories, some science fiction and some ghost stories. See which one you like best. I put a lot of care into writing all five.
The Qingtong series has three books: Great Emergence, Great Struggle, and Great Magnanimity. All are complete, and I will absolutely not abandon the series. The first two books are already published and available on Dangdang. The final book is expected to come out in July. I hope you'll support them.
Theme:
I read the physical book very early. When I was a kid, I didn't think the ending was anything special. Now that I'm rereading it, I'm so angry at the ending that I can't sleep. I remembered correctly that the male protagonist had a bunch of concubines before he met her. Not only did the female protagonist give up her kingdom as an emperor, but after she went to find the male protagonist, she had to serve this bastard together with the Three Palaces and Sixth Courtyard🥒??? Also, the male protagonist launched a war and killed so many people in the garden. Can the female protagonist's love affair be wiped out? In her heart, the female protagonist still felt that she owed the male protagonist. Oh my God, this three views are hopeless. There are really few novel endings that make me so angry. The first part was so good. I felt like crying when I rewatched the first part. Why did we give Qingtong such an ending? The heroine who started off so well turned into a cold-hearted woman who washed her underwear [heartbroken]
Such a good article, more people will read it
This ending...
5555
Okay~~~I will accept no matter what the ending is. What a great article.
8. Of all the men, I still like King Zhenye the most...
Actually, I just wanted to ask when the second part will be released? Want to see...
Looks good, when will the next chapter come out?
I'm here again, I want to read the next part, I want to read the next part, woo woo
Biaohan!
Du Huangpi is the first online article I read. How lucky and unfortunate it is! Starting from this book, I feel that most of the articles are not very good. From 2003 to now, I accidentally discovered that the cat appeared again yesterday. I was so happy. After 5 years, the articles written are still so good!
But when will the next one be released? It won't be five years from now, right? I'm already old...
Another note: As for the paper book, I don't think the number of words should be deliberately cut. I would rather buy two full books than an abridged version. If it is really deleted, I won't buy the paper book. Anyway, I can just read it in Jinjiang.
Big! When will the lower part come out? Looks like it!
According to my guess: I will probably become an expectant mother! Pregnant women should stay away from computers for at least half a year. . . I'm still thinking about the third part of Du Huangpi and the second part of Yuyuan Qingtong. . .
