A Proposal in the Depths of Space

Kevin is an interstellar fugitive wanted by the authorities (the kind who's done more good than bad).

Claude used to be a member of an interstellar terrorist organization (he's done just as much good as bad).

The two accidentally destroyed the organization's spaceship. To escape their pursuers, they had no choice but to embark on a journey of flight across the stars.

P.S. Maybe someday I'll manage to work out a complete outline.
