Harry Potter Short Spells: Fleeting Light

The HP Short Spells series is an original fanfiction based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. Keeping as close as possible to the original timeline and plot, it tells the story of the rise and fall of the pure-blood Slughorn family. Its central idea is that people are not simply "good or evil."

The story contains many original additions, but every character has a soul of their own.

The series timeline is broadly divided into five parts. The three main heroines are Gloria Slughorn I, Gloria Slughorn II, and Celeste Slughorn, daughter of the second Gloria.

This is the first book in the series. The heroine is Gloria Slughorn II, set in the next generation, and the male lead is Draco Malfoy.
