You're Hurting Me

The Xu family, a wealthy merchant family in Kyoto, went bankrupt. Overnight, Xu Jiao was left penniless, and her parents were saddled with millions in debt. With nowhere else to turn, a variety show director approached Xu Jiao and offered her a generous fee. "Hello. We were impressed by your looks and talent, and we'd like to invite you to be a guest on our show," the director said. Before her family fell on hard times, Xu Jiao had been a famous rich, beautiful heiress from Kyoto, with over a million Weibo followers. She could play piano, dance, and sing, so appearing on a show should be no problem. Xu Jiao: "Sure! What kind of show is it? Singing or dancing?" Director: "It's an outdoor survival show, a reality adventure." Xu Jiao, who had never lifted a finger around the house and would cry from the pain if she fell: "??" - Forced to join the reality show Outdoor Survival to make ends meet, she ran into Song Yanming, her former class monitor, now an officer in the special forces. Back in high school, she was the beloved school beauty, doted on by the whole class. Song Yanming was the only one who spoke coldly to her. Her nightmares from middle school were all about Song Yanming forcing her to do homework and study. After the show began airing, Xu Jiao trended as the nation's favorite crybaby. There were so many things she was afraid of. Snakes, bugs, running, simulated battlefields. But what she feared most was Song Yanming. - Everyone knew Xu Jiao was afraid of Song Yanming, but no one knew what happened in the wilderness tent in the dead of night, when they were alone. Song Yanming would kneel on one knee, gently rub the injured ankle of the young woman, and carefully apply medicine. When she frowned, he would softly ask, "Does it hurt?" And while she slept, he would bend down and gently kiss the tear tracks at the corner of her eye. "If you cry again, I'll lose my mind." Song Yanming: For nearly ten years, I gazed up at a bright moon. Now that moon has come to my side. A cold-faced special forces officer x the nation's sweet, soft-hearted crybaby. Theme: What you never forget will eventually answer your call.
