After finishing a power fantasy novel, Yuan Jichu often has strange dreams.
In his dreams, a general is infatuated with him, an upperclassman likes him, and a villain has a secret crush on him... In short, every famous, successful character in the novel is pursuing him.
When Yuan Jichu wakes up, he's mortified and doesn't want to dream anymore. So he avoids those excruciatingly embarrassing dreams by drinking coffee and watching movies every day. He never dreams about that novel again.
Later, Yuan Jichu transmigrates into the novel as a cannon-fodder character with the same name, one who dies in chapter three.
He's about to face a series of difficult predicaments: the male lead targeting him, his family abandoning him, and his inheritance being taken away.
Then he hears the people at the next table angrily discussing a rumor:
Apparently, there's a scumbag named Yuan Jichu who has seduced people across the entire interstellar world. He's deceived the feelings of countless famous young talents, from a humanoid weapon in Zone E to a teenage genius at the First Academy, then made off with their money and their virtue before fleeing far away. They say the heir to a certain great family still wears a face that says "my wife ran off with someone else," and has announced a ten-digit reward for anyone who can find Yuan Jichu.
Yuan Jichu: ??
A frightened heart, trembling hands.
Later, Yuan Jichu finally learns that his dreams can affect the novel's plot.
The people he meets in his dreams really exist in the novel's world.
And from their perspective, it goes like this:
Victim 1: "I had a sweet, well-behaved little boyfriend. He thought we were just ordinary friends, but we were actually close to getting married. One day, he said he only saw me as a good friend, that he'd been lying to me all along, and then he vanished without a trace."
Victim 2: "I barely had time to grieve before I found out he'd been stringing along a bunch of people besides me."
Victim 3: "I said, 'Good morning, babe.' He said, 'Morning, security guard.'"
Now Yuan Jichu has transmigrated into this novel.
Yuan Jichu: ...Just let me die.

Reading guide:
1. A world-weary, love-struck god as the top x a slow-witted, clueless, universally adored bottom
2. Happy ending, 1v1, but the top will split into clones in the dream-world arcs
3. The top becomes very dangerous when the bottom leaves him. The top's feelings are overwhelmingly intense, while the bottom probably only returns them in the final chapter.
Theme: Don't feel inferior.
