I watched Marriage Story and it really affected me, so I thought a bit about the relationship between Elaine and Zabini.
Their relationship definitely isn't the kind where they're faithful to each other from beginning to end, or where a repentant playboy or playgirl always has someone waiting for them.
It's more like this:
After going through a lot, they come to understand each other, realize they're right for one another, and naturally end up together.
After all, marriage means sharing a life. You can't give up everything for love, can you?
