What's the Apocalypse?

[A road-trip story: The Transformation of Young Lady Yao] One day, electricity suddenly vanished from the world. The power grid went dead, the batteries in clocks ran out, and even the rain no longer brought lightning. Transportation came to a complete halt. Computers became big iron blocks, and phones became little iron blocks. Yao Ye was a senior executive at a financial firm, but work was out of the question. She barely had any cash on her, either. She did have plenty of bank cards, but the banks had gone on strike... The elevator in her apartment building, on the 12th floor, stopped working. Yao Ye thought it was fine, she could handle it. She'd climb the stairs. Her car couldn't run, but Yao Ye thought it was fine, she could handle it. She'd walk. Her coworkers moved to the countryside. Her neighbors moved to the countryside. Yao Ye stubbornly stayed in her apartment until she realized that the city couldn't produce its own food... She had no choice but to pack up and head for the countryside. As she slowly made her way along the highway, she unexpectedly discovered that Xiao Zhang, the security guard she'd never paid much attention to, was remarkably capable of surviving. In such a primitive situation, those primitive skills somehow took on a certain charm... Inspired by the film Survival Family Weibo: @Jiachong Huahuao Theme:
