In the thirty-eighth year of Tianjia, Qin Heng, the Prince of the Southwest, broke through the capital. He wanted neither territory nor tribute. All he asked was for Emperor Tianjia's younger sister, Princess Pingliang Gu Yijia, to marry him.

After returning to the Southwest, Gu Yijia discovered Qin Heng's secret. She pointed a slender finger at his chest and smiled seductively. "Husband, just how many years have you been thinking about me?"

Qin Heng's eyes darkened. He caught her finger and pulled her into his arms. "I've been longing for our Jiajia for so long that I've lost count. If you kiss me, maybe it'll come back to me."
