[Kaká Fanfiction] You're All That Matters to Me

I wonder if anyone has heard Teresa Teng's I Only Care About You. I'm currently writing a football RPF about Kaka, the Son of God of the football world. I'm a casual football fan but a real-person fan, and I don't write many match scenes. The story will mostly be my own original plot, so you won't be lost even if you don't watch football!

This is expected to be a short story of twenty, thirty, forty, or fifty thousand words. I'm worried a long story will drain my enthusiasm, and football RPF is really hard to write, so this will be a no-strings-attached short story made up of different little scenes from my imagination. I've only written a few thousand words so far, and I plan to start posting when I'm about halfway through.

Please read the content warnings before you start!!! My heart is fragile and can't withstand the slightest storm, sob sob sob.

Maybe I'm getting old, because I still love tops who are doted on. But since this is about Kaka, whom I like, the relationship will be mutual: the top dotes on the bottom, and the bottom dotes on the top too. Their roles won't change, though, so the bottom falls for the top first and pursues him.

At first, the two of them are just good friends, so enjoy the little bromance, but there's no romance yet. Their friendship turns into love in the middle and later parts. This story is based on real life. I didn't want to write Caroline into it at first, but then I felt including her was the best way to express the meaning of I Only Care About You, so I did. She has very little page time. I don't want a threesome, and I don't want Kaka to cheat, so the bromance only officially begins after their breakup. Before that, they're just really close buddies!

It's hard to describe their roles. Maybe a baby-faced, short, universally adored top x a gentle, sunny bottom who's shy around the top but otherwise expressive and good with sweet nothings?

I don't have enough words to include the lyrics, so I strongly recommend that anyone who hasn't heard the song go listen to it.
