If you ask Ye Qi what her dream is, she'll tell you with shining eyes: to become the best reporter in the world.
If you ask what she's afraid of, she'll roll her eyes and tell you that interviewing entertainers scares her more than anything.
But one day, Ye Qi is forced to start working as an assistant photographer. When she points her camera at Kim Taehyung, her heart begins beating faster and faster...
[Major Spoiler Warning!]
"Why did you quit?" Kim Taehyung rushes out of the building, still panting, and grabs Ye Qi by the arm.
"W-what's it to you?" Ye Qi turns her head away, trying to wrench herself free. "Let go!"
"Of course it's my business." Kim Taehyung stares at her, refusing to let go as he drags her aside. "You've secretly taken so many pictures of me, and now you think you can just run away?"
Ye Qi's eyes widen. "You knew!?" She immediately panics and covers her mouth, looking at Kim Taehyung with an innocent expression.
Seeing her like this, Kim Taehyung bends toward her with an amused smile, bringing their faces closer and closer.
He gazes into her eyes, the corners of his mouth lifting in a half-smile. "Why are you covering your mouth? I know about that, and I even know you secretly kissed me yesterday."
Ye Qi's face turns bright red. She pushes at him in a panic. "I didn't! It wasn't me! That wasn't me!!"
"Just admit it, Ye Qi. You like me, don't you? Hmm?" Kim Taehyung ignores her hands pushing against his chest. Instead, he grabs her hands, keeping his eyes fixed on hers as he leans in, domineering as ever.
Ye Qi's heart pounds. She turns away and shuts her eyes, but can't hide her increasingly flushed cheeks.
After a long while, he lets out a sigh. "Forget it."
Ye Qi opens her eyes, only to be caught off guard by his face drawing close and his warm lips...
She goes completely blank.
The shameless culprit bites her lower lip, then pulls away with a mischievous, innocent smile. "I was just kissing you back... and collecting a little interest while I was at it."
Scene 2
"Maybe we should break up first." "Let's break up."
After a long silence, they speak at the exact same time.
They both freeze.
She wants to break up? Why?
Kim Taehyung frowns.
So he really does want to break up.
Ye Qi smiles bitterly.
She hoists her bag onto her back and turns away. "Then let's do that. Since we both want it. I'm leaving."
"Wait." Kim Taehyung instinctively grabs her arm, but doesn't know what to say.
"Why? Do you want to break up?" He hesitates, then asks anyway.
"Why?" Ye Qi turns to look at him, laughing bitterly, her voice full of hurt and anger. "Isn't that what you want? Why would you ask me such a ridiculous question?"
"I don't want to." Kim Taehyung answers at once. He looks at her and unconsciously tightens his grip.
"Did I just imagine you saying it, then?" Ye Qi thinks Kim Taehyung is being utterly ridiculous.
"That was..." Kim Taehyung opens his mouth, hesitates, but still can't bring himself to say it.
"Let go." Ye Qi coldly shoves his hand away, her eyes full of disappointment and sadness.
She turns away, but the next second, he wraps his arms around her from behind.
His voice is low in her ear, his breath falling against her neck. "I'm sorry. Don't be sad. I just thought... maybe breaking up would be better for us right now."
She says nothing. Kim Taehyung holds her in silence.
After a long while, a tear lands on the back of his hand.
He panics and turns her around, only to find her already streaming with tears.
"Kim Taehyung, how can you make breaking up sound so perfectly reasonable?" Ye Qi looks at him through her sobs.
His heart aches.
Flustered, he quickly wipes away her tears with his fingertips and cradles her face, his voice almost pleading. "I'm sorry. Please don't cry. I..."
Kim Taehyung takes a deep breath, then suddenly closes his eyes. His voice turns helpless. "Ye Qi, I'm scared. I'm scared you'll leave me. But I thought we had to learn to get used to it. But..."
He pauses. "But I'm even more afraid of seeing you cry."
He kisses her hard, prying open her lips with his tongue and kissing her fiercely, pouring all his strength into it.
When they finally break apart, both gasping for breath, he speaks in a soft, pleading voice.
"So let's not break up, okay?"

A sweet romance. Nobody suffers except the second male lead...
Basically, it's a story about two people simply liking and being liked by each other, and then getting together.
The plot has no logic, and I made a lot of things up.
My writing is a little immature, so please bear with me.
