Fu Dai: The Flower Affair

**This novel is a tribute to our beautiful youth.**

--About Voldemort:

>> The Voldemort in this story is Tom Riddle during his school years, not the Dark Lord he became after splitting his soul into many pieces, damaging it, and using magic to create an unnatural body. That Voldemort lacked human emotions, was volatile, and abandoned all pretense once he gained absolute power, becoming almost inhuman.

>> According to Dumbledore's recollections, Voldemort as a student was a polite, exceptionally intelligent genius who could read and manipulate people, without a trace of arrogance or aggression, and was extremely cautious. So we can infer that at this point, Voldemort still retained much of his humanity. Though he was probably unable to understand romantic feelings, he still possessed the joys, sorrows, and desires of an ordinary human. Caution and pretense were crucial traits of his during his school years.

>> So, friends reading this story, don't picture the Dark Lord after he entered society and let loose, with his soul split into many pieces. This is a suggestion from a fan of the original books. Please don't let excessive speculation about Voldemort in other fanfics shape your perception of him.

>> As for the rumor that he was "born from a love potion and incapable of love," Ms. Rowling has already debunked it. To sum it up in one sentence: "It is merely a literary symbol. The key factors that made him incapable of love were a terrible upbringing and psychological trauma."
