This is a seemingly ordinary, simple, and very short story, but it contains a lot. The author was pretty confused while writing it and had to go over it several times before everything made sense. I hope someone can understand what the author meant to convey with this story.
An ordinary life, a perfect life, an extraordinary life lived by an ordinary person. To have perfection, you have to put in far more effort. If you want an extraordinary adventure without making the effort, the consequences may be more than an ordinary person like you can handle. Only after going through it will you learn to cherish the happiness you have now. The one meant for you is actually waiting for you in the not-too-distant future. Excerpt 1:
Do you believe in karma? Because she saved Gu Chenhao, he found her and treated her well. But the great humiliation she suffered, and all the pain she endured, were caused by Gu Chenhao. In the end, she died for him. So Ji Jingmeng's current hatred for him, and everything he is doing for her now, are merely repayment for the life debt he owes her. Their karma runs in a circle, and once their grievances are settled, they will have nothing to do with each other. Their fate was wrong because they met the wrong person at the right time, leading to the tragedy of Ji Jingmeng's first life, and then to Gu Chenhao's tragedy.
Excerpt 2:
When Jingmeng woke up, she was in her college dorm room. Her mind was in a muddle. Had she been reborn again? This wasn't the perfect life, and that miserable life hadn't started yet either. This was her ordinary life. The skills she had learned were now very hazy, and those past events felt like a dream. Maybe they really were just a dream. She had always had a pretty wild imagination, after all.
This is definitely not an abandoned article
