Raising a Fox [Reborn]

After Luo Yanchen, the famed child-protecting elder of Lingyun Sect, is killed by his beautiful, scheming little disciple, his soul drifts into the body of a white fox that died young, and he is reborn. He ends up in a market for demon beasts, where someone buys him, supposedly as a gift for the young master, who suffers from depression and manic episodes.

Luo Yanchen looks up and sees the face of his little disciple once again, a face capable of bringing kingdoms to ruin. His heart jolts, and his fur stands on end.

You ungrateful disciple, where are you putting your hands? Stop it! Don't pet your master's fur!

After being reborn, Luo Yanchen thinks he's pulled off a flawless switch into a fox's body. He eats, drinks, and has fun every day, blissfully unaware that whenever night falls and all is quiet, his precious disciple secretly does things to him that no one should know about...

Luo Yanchen: "Mmh... You wicked disciple, stop! Don't forget, I'm still your master!"

A certain someone narrows his eyes and pinches one fluffy white fox ear. "Hmm? What should you call me now?"

Luo Yanchen's eyes redden. After a long pause, he whispers, "Master..."

1. A rebirth-in-a-cultivation-world, younger-man romance. A seemingly aloof, beautiful but actually adorably clueless fox immortal bottom VS a dark, obsessive, mentally twisted disciple top.

2. A sweet, heartwarming romance, full of affection and lovey-dovey moments. It has a plot, so it's not a brainless romp, but don't scrutinize it too closely either. This isn't an animal story, so don't overthink details like how big a white fox's ears are, how long its legs are, or whether it has paw pads, and what shape they are. Dear readers, this is a cultivation story, not a guide to ordinary animals.

3. Both leads are each other's first, happy ending.

4. This story is a slow burn.
