This world is divided into the human realm, the underworld, and the Zi Market. The underworld has three departments: the Hall of King Yama, the Pass of No Return, and the Path of Reincarnation. There is also the independent Office of Records.
The Zi Market differs from both. It is a place where the living and the souls of the dead mingle, and everyone, alive or dead, can make fair trades to obtain what they want.
In the human world, only those with great virtue and prestige may take up a post in the underworld or the Zi Market after death, and follow the way of the dead.
