"Wizards originally didn't use wands. All a powerful wizard had to do was stretch out a hand toward the target of a spell, or look at them, and the spell would work. But weaker wizards often couldn't control their magic. For a time, they caused panic in the Muggle world. Then the Muggles began hunting and persecuting wizards on a large scale. That was when a wizard suggested, 'Let's make a medium that can guide the flow of magic inside wizards.' Such an object would help young, weak wizards control and direct their magic. They would only be able to cast spells when they raised their wands, preventing unnecessary disturbances and keeping the Muggles from noticing them."
"The first wand in the world was made by Merlin. Its 66-inch shaft was assembled from acacia and English oak. Its core was an Anglian red dragon's nerve, and red dragon scales were fitted around the wand's head. But the one thing indispensable to completing this wand was the soul of King Arthur's child."
"The princess's soul merged with the wand. She is the embodiment of Merlin's magic, she is the spell itself, she is the little princess." A mischievous glint flashed in Dumbledore's blue eyes behind his half-moon spectacles. He winked like a child and said cheerfully, "She is... Merlin's wand."
* HP + Arthurian legend + Fantastic Beasts + various other random works involving fairies
* Pairing with Draco, one-on-one romance
* In life, the heroine was the daughter of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. After death, she became Merlin's wand, took human form, and lived in Avalon, occasionally visiting the human world for fun. She does as she pleases, is chaotic neutral, and doesn't care about reason. She's very much a Mary Sue. Her only sore spot is anyone saying she was the product of an affair between the queen and a knight. She is proud of being Arthur's daughter all her life.
* The heroine is a life-size wand personified. Like Merlin, she can freely control the age she appears to be. She usually appears as a mature woman, with long white hair and red scales around her eyes, which she can hide. Since she was only four when she died, when she turns into a child she instinctively takes the form she had at the end of her life, with brown hair and amber eyes. Since she never lived to grow up, she imagines what she would have looked like as a girl based on the father she is so proud of: blond hair and blue eyes. In short, there are three stages: her childhood appearance as a human (like the queen), her imagined teenage appearance (like Arthur), and her mature appearance after becoming a wand (Merlin's wand).
* There is a scene where a wand is pulled from her chest. The heroine is the guardian of Avalon's garden. Only someone she chooses to give a flower to can pull the wand from her chest. This English oak wand with a dragon nerve core can adjust the magic of whoever pulls it out according to the heroine's thoughts. The heroine herself is a life-size wand and can only be used by Merlin.
* Merlin is alive and will appear later. The heroine's catchphrase is, "I really want to send you to meet Merlin." She means it literally: she wants them to meet Merlin. It once terrified a whole group of wizards (x).
Just digging the pit for now. I'll delete this line when I officially start posting x
