I don't really have a clear outline, but it's broadly about the separate coming-of-age stories of Ingrid and James, with Ingrid's story as the main focus and some other characters' stories woven in as well.

The setting is the gradual rise to power of the Dark Lord and the deepening conflict between pure-bloods and others.

All right, I'm updating again. My updates aren't very consistent. Sometimes inspiration strikes and I can write a lot, while other times I get stuck or have too much going on, so I take a break. Since school hasn't started yet, I'll try to update more. I really do want to see your comments, since they often give me a lot of encouragement, but I know following an ongoing story can be tiring. So if you happen to think of Ingrid, I hope you'll leave your thoughts below, or even just ask me to update.

I'm a new writer. I want to portray a lot of things, but I always feel my writing skills are limited. At the same time, writing purely out of love feels a little unsatisfying... I suppose this story is also a record of my own growth.
