[PS: Upcoming historical novel, Return of the Spear: bickering couple + chasing-the-wife-to-the-crematorium]
One midsummer, a dark horse suddenly emerged from the science track's advanced class at Nancheng No. 1 High School, creating a legend in that year's college entrance exams.
Years later, this top science-track scorer returned to her homeland in triumph, becoming a prominent figure in investment banking and attracting countless admiring glances.
What no one expected was that not long afterward, news of her new relationship suddenly appeared in the class group chat. The man was none other than the most renowned aloof heartthrob of Nancheng No. 1 High School: Gu Yanshu, now hailed as the youngest diplomat!
The gossip-loving crowd all asked:
“...When did those two get together?”

Few people knew that Cheng Anran had secretly carved someone's name into a corner beneath her desk and left it there for three whole years.
When she was twenty-seven, she was invited back to her high school as an outstanding alumna to give a speech. The moment she looked up, her gaze unexpectedly met a pair of familiar yet unfamiliar dark eyes.
After the speech came the Q&A session.
A student boldly asked, “Senior, I heard the dean caught you dating in secret at school during your final year. Is that true?”
Cheng Anran immediately shook her head. “We were just classmates.”
So the first thing Gu Yanshu did when he stepped onto the stage was hand the microphone back to the student who had asked the question.
“I have two things to clarify about your question.”
He glanced at someone in the audience below.
“First, Cheng and I weren't dating in secret.”
“Second, we were just classmates back then, but that might not always be the case.”
The whole room erupted.

Everyone in the capital knew that the Wei General's residence in the west of the city had a third daughter born with extraordinary strength, who was always chasing after the heir to the Prince of Rong's household.
“Did she catch him?”
“No. She stopped chasing him later.”
“Why?”
“Because she put on her armor and went to expand the empire for His Majesty.”
“What about the heir to the Prince of Rong's household?”
Someone in the know only smiled and said nothing.
Later, this man made his way to the frontier, where he unexpectedly ran into that brave and battle-hardened female general in a teahouse in the border city.
At the time, a handsome young man with a face like jade sat beside her, and the soldiers accompanying them all called him “Heir.”

They say that during General Mingwei's years in the border city, she always had a scheming adviser by her side.
One dark and windy night, a soldier on patrol passed the general's tent and suddenly heard a sharp slap from inside. A man wearing nothing but his underclothes was then flung out, a vivid handprint on his handsome face.
The next moment, he got up from the grass, bits of it stuck in his hair, spat twice, then doggedly charged back into the tent.
The soldier: “...”
Pei Qi, the diligent bed-climbing dog: These days, I climb into bed because of the stupid things I did back then.

Theme: Love between equals is the ultimate romance!
Isn't it study? Can you write less touching emotional scenes in the early stage? I thought from the introduction that I would study more rationally. But in the end, I only wrote so many touching scenes in just a few chapters.
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking. But I didn't go into details about the important event that happened when the heroine was in school. I just summarized it in one paragraph. I feel so sorry for the heroine. I can't describe many of the heroine's difficulties. It's so difficult for the female goose. It's really difficult for women to be in management positions in the workplace. The heroine is really great!
I love the baby girl so much! The seven-person group on campus also feels like a group portrait!
Is there no extra chapter about giving birth?
"Now this goal remains unchanged, but there is one more reason to urge her to work hard." This is a big bug for the author~ urge
It's finally finished! 💪 I have been following this book since the beginning, and then I stopped reading it for a long time. Normally, I would abandon the book directly after the update is stopped, but this book is an exception, and I really can't let it go!
Is there any bonus extra? I always feel like I haven't finished explaining it yet.
Looks good, I like it so much, check in 2025.9.16
What about the sequel to The Child? Waiting [sunglasses][sunglasses][sunglasses]
The ceiling in campus literature!
