How to Become a Good Teacher, Starting with a Lightning Strike

[Completed] The writing is lighthearted and ridiculous, but at its heart, this is a sweet, feel-good story about redemption. Also known as The Complete Guide to Recruiting and Using Useful Minions, My Homeroom Teacher Rides a Motorcycle to Work, Skips Out Early to Eat Barbecue, and Is Surprisingly Well Connected on the Streets, The Minions' Daily Rivalry for Favor, and Are You Really a Teacher? Blurb: Chang Xiang used to be a delinquent girl who was "up to no good": she smoked, drank, dropped out of school, and played esports. Who could have guessed that one day she'd be struck by lightning, only to wake up with her tattoos and piercings gone and be told she was now a math teacher and homeroom teacher? She walked into the classroom of Class 8, Senior Year, lesson plan in hand, only to find a class full of slackers who never studied. A bunch of troublemaking students had driven away countless teachers and were doing everything they could to intimidate her. Chang Xiang thought, I may not teach math as well as other people, but you were still in elementary school when I was running the streets! You think you can take me on? In just one semester, every student learned the terror of being under her thumb. The gamers were crushed by their homeroom teacher in one-on-one matches, the speed demons got a face full of motorcycle exhaust, and the brawlers were thoroughly beaten by her. They thought their homeroom teacher was way too domineering. What a pain. That is, until they saw her slam her lesson plan down outside the classroom next door and glare at that class's homeroom teacher as she stood up for them: "Try saying my students are good-for-nothings and social trash again. I'll show you what real trash looks like!" A year later, at Yucai High School's awards ceremony, Chang Xiang held the certificate for the entire class's college admissions and couldn't help reflecting that perhaps her greatest talent wasn't rolling dice, but gardening. Every crooked little sapling needs a gardener's careful attention. Maybe she could call herself the Crooked Sapling Harbor. As a legendary esports player, genius Wei Shuyun has a childhood friend. Though they hadn't been in touch for many years, he always remembered her as gentle. But he never imagined that one night he would be sitting with his childhood friend at a barbecue stall. His gentle childhood friend deftly peeled a clove of purple-skinned garlic and said, "Bro, order us two skewers of kidney." What on earth happened to change you? A heartfelt note from the author: 1. The male lead isn't based on anyone. This story focuses on the plot. The female lead is fundamentally the same before and after transmigrating, and she will tell the male lead the truth. If you're okay with the premise, jump right in. There is no tragic romance. 2. The female lead is strong, but most of the time she wins people over with reason. She doesn't advocate violence. 3. My completed novel, Momma's Boy and Brother-Obsessed Sister. Weibo: Jinjiang Wanjian. And now, a little advertising. If you're interested, please add my next novel to your favorites. Pre-collection is really important to me! My next novel will be I Talked the Big Shots Back to Life, a ridiculous, feel-good story. Su Jiyun transmigrates into a book, becoming the cannon-fodder villainess in a modern romance novel. The male lead had treated her horribly, leaving her heartbroken and driving her to become a nun in the mountains. She also gets a System. But her transmigration throws time and space into chaos, and all the major heroes and villains who should have been making waves at this point in the story have died years earlier. The System tells her she must keep returning to the past to save all the big shots who weren't supposed to die. Su Jiyun thinks it over. She can't do all that work for nothing, can she? So, relying on her thorough knowledge of the plot, she goes back in time disguised as a spiritual adept whose fortune-telling is always right. Using her powers of persuasion, she saves each big shot's life, then leaves them with a parting request: "If you want to repay me for saving your life, just make a small donation to the temple on Mount Qingyun in X years." Every time Su Jiyun completes a mission and returns to the temple, hoping to see whether the big shots have kept their promises, she finds something new to be horrified by. The young master of a financial dynasty waits halfway up the mountain for her return. The shabby, leaky temple disappears overnight, replaced by a magnificent one. A top-tier star arrives in a luxury car, bringing so many tourists they nearly trample Mount Qingyun. A neurotic big shot in a wheelchair drags the male lead from the original novel, the man who wronged her, before her and leaves him to her judgment. Su Jiyun thinks, You call this making a small donation? This is arson! Worse still, one of them kneels before her with a ring box and says, "I've thought it over, and I don't think any donation would be sincere enough. How about I donate myself?" Su Jiyun, who wanted to laze around but was forced to reach the pinnacle of success: "You probably won't believe me, but I just wanted to swindle a little money." Theme: Study hard and keep improving every day.
