Fox spirits... They do nothing but beguile people's hearts. Everyone thinks so, because in their minds, the words "fox spirit" are always a reminder of the story of Daji, the demon consort. But there are always exceptions. Ever since he was given the title of a god, everything began to feel so natural. The story told here is about a little fox bound to a divine throne. Every day, he listens to countless wishes and searches for the purest prayers. He helps his sincere devotees... overcome their troubles.
"My power is so weak... but... keep going! Hang on a little longer! I'll be there by your side very soon... Very soon... Your pain... your sadness... all of it will soon be gone."
"Pray... Whatever you say... I'll hear it, I promise!"
"Are you doubting this little fox? ...Well... I suppose... foxes do tend to have a bad reputation."
"Don't be afraid... I'm just tired... I'll sleep for a little while... just... a little while."
