Here's a writing practice story. (The character "Ning" in the story is not a typo for "you.")

Couples: Riverbank (Xiao Shanhe and Zuo Anchen), Summer Dynasty (Qin Chao and He Xiayang), Seeking the Sun (Ye Wuxun and Shen Taiyang). Please note before reading: The author writes like an evil stepmother, so expect angst all the way through. Good luck finding sweet moments among the shards of glass.

Xiao Shanhe: Has motion sickness when reading; was sent to an internet addiction treatment center in his second year of high school.

Zuo Anchen: Excellent student and a standard early-admission candidate; Xiao Shanhe's childhood friend.

Qin Chao: A rebellious teenager who later finds true love, but unfortunately gives his heart to the wrong person.

He Xiayang: Consistently top of the class, but cheerful by nature. After a later shock, he may become twisted.

Shen Taiyang: A girl who appears throughout the story. Not a scheming flirt or a fake innocent, but a cool-headed supporter.

Ye Wuxun: Has feelings for Shen Taiyang, but is clueless about his own feelings and everyone else's. His EQ is rock-bottom.
