After Getting Back Together with Amuro Tooru, I Discover He's an Undercover Agent

Also known as How I, a Hopeless Romantic, Ended Up Between the Booze Factory and My Ex in a Two-Person Act When I was assigned to evaluate new recruits with Gin, I didn't think there was anything odd about it. Maybe it was because my mission failure rate had been so high lately: ever since I came to Japan, my targets had always died just before I could complete a mission successfully. The Boss was worried that I, one of the organization's hard-won top killers, might be having some kind of psychological problem, so he wanted me to take a break. Naturally, I was thrilled... That is, until I spotted a blond man with dark skin from afar at the agreed evaluation site. That face was so familiar. My first boyfriend from high school: Furuya Rei. How had this big-eyed, straight-laced, kind, and academically gifted good student ended up working for the same booze factory as me? This had to be the damn booze factory's fault! I climbed through a window in the middle of the night and sneaked over to Furuya's bedside, inviting him to escape the booze factory with me. The man who went by the alias Amuro Tooru didn't recognize me, but he readily agreed with a smile. Then the next day, he turned around and reported to Gin that I was an undercover agent. Damn it, I knew my ex-boyfriend was no good! [Reader's Guide] 1. The plot and character backstories have been heavily changed, including the fact that Tooru's first love wasn't Elena.
