When I was alive, I once told my dearest friend with absolute certainty, "Darling, someone like me is sure to end up in Hell after I die."
But I never imagined Hell would look this ridiculous.
"Can't be helped. The boss and the big shot upstairs are on their honeymoon right now, so they're overhauling the entire first level of Hell. Just hang in there. In a few decades, they'll start arguing again, and then we'll be free."
The guy talking called himself my rookie guide demon. According to him, he'd been sent here as a guide because his boss was punishing him for spreading gossip about their top boss and the enemy leader. I didn't think he had any intention of mending his ways. All I'd heard from him along the way was gossip.
"Aren't you afraid you'll get in trouble again for spreading gossip so openly?"
"Well, then I'll whisper it to you." That bastard demon waved his fan and gave me a wink, clearly in a good mood.
Just when I had finally accepted that Hell might really be this stupid, the bastard demon showed me what it truly looked like.
I knew it. Now this is Hell.
