The white-lotus heroine wants to shine and transform the story into a household-intrigue novel. Unfortunately, her mother-in-law spoils her, her father-in-law is henpecked, and her husband is a wastrel, leaving her no room to play the heroine.
To avoid becoming a farming-novel heroine corrupted by money, the white lotus decides to have an affair.
