Middle School Saint's Diary

When did these feelings begin? Was it love at first sight? The first time I saw you, my heart went thump, thump, thump. I rode past that field because you said it was beautiful. I never deleted that photo, and it’s still my phone’s wallpaper.

I like you. I liked you from the very first moment. My head is a mess right now. I know these feelings aren’t allowed, but I still like you.

No matter how it ends, Xiao Sheng, I want to try.

“Teacher, no, Xiao Sheng, I like you.”

If things had followed the original plot, Xiao Sheng would have quit his job and been taken away after Hei Yan’s mother reported him for abducting a minor. Hei Yan would have grown up to be eighteen, and at last, after overcoming every obstacle, they would have ended up together.

But what if? I mean, what if

What if Xiao Sheng and Hei Yan weren’t bound by their roles as teacher and student, or by their ten-year age gap, with one of them fifteen and the other twenty-five?

I’m sure everyone would want to know what their love might look like, if such a possibility existed.

So this time, I’m bringing you that possibility.

A note from the author:

I’ve always felt that Xiao Sheng and Hei Yan should have a sweet, warm, and innocent love story. There shouldn’t have to be so many obstacles between them.

So rather than a spin-off of A Love So Beautiful, this is a story about Xiao Sheng and Hei Yan at the same age in another fictional world. It’s a story that fulfills my lovely fantasy.
