The Deserted Island Challenge Game

Yan Yilan had barely managed to survive in the slums. After finishing a day's work, she returned from the bustling capital to her dilapidated home, exhausted. A strange invitation lay quietly on the table. In the darkness, she watched the video that came with it. A blurry image showed a familiar face. Then came a shrill cry of terror. “Yilan, come save me!” The image cut off abruptly. The video was over. She suddenly opened her eyes and found herself in a clean hospital room. Sturdy iron-barred windows, a heavy iron door, mutated test subjects, and players with hidden agendas. This was a game under constant surveillance. As she tried to escape, a strange man kept contacting her by phone. “Stay away from that man. He means you no good.” “That woman is a manipulative green tea bitch. Why are you protecting her?” “You're going the wrong way. Go that way instead.” “Hmph. I'm the only one who truly understands you.” Yan Yilan couldn't take it anymore. “Shut up, you coward who only runs his mouth behind my back! Show yourself if you've got the guts!” The man chuckled. “I'm right beside you.” Welcome to 'The Island'. To stay alive, follow these rules: First, trust no one.
