On the Despair of Vampires

Bungo Stray Dogs + Vampire Domain

Eight-year-old Nangong Xiyan accidentally witnessed Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya's first meeting, and told them what she knew about Arahabaki.

At nine, on her way home one night, Nangong Xiyan saw Nakahara Chuuya use Corruption (after the Dragon Head War ended). Dazai Osamu discovered her talent and recommended that she join the Port Mafia, nominally as Nakahara Chuuya's subordinate. After undergoing Dazai Osamu's Spartan training, she awakened her ability.

The Moon-Enticing Incident took place that same year.

It has been four years since Dazai Osamu defected. Fifteen-year-old Nangong Xiyan has become Nakahara Chuuya's direct subordinate. Just as everything seems calm, the Demon Faction has infiltrated the academy Xiyan attends. And so the story begins.

This story came about because I was unhappy with Vampire Domain's rushed ending and the author's lack of attention to my favorite pairing, Suo and Xi...

The characters may be out of character, and there are lots of headcanons (for example, some abilities may not manifest at first, but if someone has the potential, they can awaken them later).

As for Xiyan's ability...

Let's make it control water and fire...

And the name...

Let's call it "Tale"...

The world is made up primarily of the settings of Vampire Domain and Bungo Stray Dogs, along with some elements from Vampire Knight and Vampire Blood, as well as other vampire lore. The only confirmed official pairing is Suo and Xiyan (the ending is set in stone).

Dazai's pairing will be decided by reader votes, so anything is possible for Dazai as the bottom~

And since the current confirmed official pairing is BG, I've added the romance tag.

Feel free to share any thoughts in the comments. Sending everyone a heart~
